I have heard your prayer

...This is what the LORD, the God of your father David, says: "I have heard your prayer and seen your tears";...

It was pronounced to King Hezekiah that he was going to die [2 Kings 20]. But he did not lose hope. He prayed to God. His prayer came from the depths of his heart for he wept bitterly. The Lord answered his prayer. He did not die. His health was restored, years were added to his life and he was also blessed.

You may have prayed and wept bitterly concerning a situation, which to you seems hopeless. Today, your loving Father says to you, "I have heard your prayer and seen your tears". Weep no more. Incline your ears to His sayings. He will give you words of peace, words of hope, bring about total restoration, and bless you.

Suggestions for Prayer: Thank God and praise Him for answered prayers.  Declare that even as this year unfolds, you will continue to see answered prayers in line with the will of God.

One-Year Daily Bible Reading Plan - Jan. 15 2010 - Genesis 37-38 (OT), Matthew 14 (NT).

Suggested Prayer Point for yourself - Pray that this year, unforgiveness will not hinder your prayers from being answered. If there is anyone you need to forgive, pray that God gives you direction on how to go about it. Declare that from this day forward, you will no longer walk in unforgiveness. If you need to forgive yourself of anything, take off that burden today for God has forgiven you of such and remembers your sins no more. Supporting Scriptures - Mark 11:25, Luke 17:3, Hebrews 10:17.

Suggested General Prayer Point - Pray for Christian missionaries. Pray for the provision of physical needs. Pray that God would supply their every need even enough to bless the people they are ministering to.
