"Come now, let’s settle this," says the Lord. "Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool."
Scarlet and crimson were the firmest of dyes, and were not easily washed out. For sins to be like scarlet means they are glaring and habitual.
Do you worry that you have sinned and it's consequences are so glaring? Do you feel your sin is so much that it cannot be forgiven? Do you struggle with backsliding that you have even resolved to remain in it? Your loving Father says to you, "Come now, let's settle this." Once it is settled, it is forever settled. He has the ability to make scarlet and crimson white as snow and wool. Your works are not enough to cleanse you and change you, except you go to Him.
He has made provision to cleanse you and make you pure once again. Jesus Christ was the sacrifice used for the remission of your sin. Your repentance, acceptance of what Jesus Christ did, and surrendering to Him is the part you have to play.

Suggested Prayer Point for yourself - Pray that you will have a reputation that is untarnished. Pray that there will be no reason why something bad should be said about you. Pray that you will be protected from legal entanglements or lawsuits. Declare that God will defend you from anyone who rises against you. Supporting Scriptures - Psalm 64:2-3, Proverbs 25:8-10, Romans 8:33-34.
Suggested General Prayer Point - Pray for the Body of Christ. Pray that the members know the truth accurately, and that the truth may be applied wisely to what is going on in life. Pray that members never lose the Holy Spirit, but stay constantly in touch with God's Love, His Light and His Life.
