As surely as I live, says the Sovereign Lord, I take no pleasure in the death of wicked people. I only want them to turn from their wicked ways so they can live...
These words were spoken when God sent Prophet Ezekiel to give hope to the Israelites who were were wasting away in their sins yet could not do anything about it. God has no delight in the ruin of sinners. It is His desire that sinners should turn and live than they go on and die. Knowing that all efforts of man alone failed to keep him cleansed of sin and wickedness, God sent His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for all mankind so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Your Loving Father wants you to have eternal life. This eternal life, otherwise known as salvation, is a full package. It constitutes material preservation, deliverance, peace, health, well-being, and healing. It is God's desire that even the wicked turn from their wicked ways and receive eternal life.
Is your heart aligned with the heart of your loving Father? What are your thoughts towards those that are not saved?
Prayer: Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your gift of salvation. Thank You for the great difference it makes in my life. Father, I know Your desire for mankind is that none should perish but should have eternal life. Father, align my heart with Yours. I pray that by Your grace and the power of Your Holy Spirit, I will be able to reach out to those who are unsaved. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.
