Before I formed you in the womb I knew and approved of you (as My chosen instrument),
and before you were born I separated and set you apart, consecrating you;
Do you some times wonder what your purpose is or why you were created? Your Loving Father wants you know that you are not here by chance but here for a purpose. God knows what use to make of everyone before He makes him/her. To know what you are created for, you need to ask God. What God has designed you for, He will call you to and equip you for that purpose.
Before you were formed, He knew you and set you apart for a specific purpose. You will need to truly yield to Him to understand and achieve fully this purpose. He also has a plan for your life to achieve this purpose.
There might be some situations you feel should not be in the plan for your life. Rest assured today that God has not forgotten you. You are unique, special and chosen for a purpose. His plan is to bring you to an expected end.
Suggestions for Prayer: Thank God that you are created on purpose for a purpose. Thank Him for the plan He has for you. Pray for the grace to yield completely to Him, and not lust after the things of the world. Pray that He opens the eyes of your understanding to know the purpose for which you were created. Pray that God brings people or resources along your journey to help you realize who you are in Christ and how you can continue to walk in the confidence of knowing your purpose.
One-Year Daily Bible Reading Plan - Jan. 28 2010 - Exodus 22-24 (OT), Matthew 26: 36-75 (NT).
Suggested Prayer Point for yourself - (In line with suggested prayer from the devotional) Pray for grace to consecrate yourself and ability to walk worthy of your calling. Supporting Scriptures - Psalm 20:4, 1 Cor 7:7, 2 Thess 1:11.
Suggested General Prayer Point - Pray for marriages. Pray that the Holy Spirit will teach those called to the marriage institution reflect deeply on the delicate choice that will influence their destiny. Pray that spouses understand the true meaning and purpose of marriage. Pray that they will not be subject to their emotions but rather they will lift God up to be the head of their home, and they reflect the character of Christ to all around them.
Pray that the Holy Spirit teaches unhappy spouses the power of patience and mildness. Pray that they do not give in to discouragement but rather they will remember that it is only God who give them satisfaction and restore their joy.
God's Love and Mine.
