Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their deeds.
Prophet Isaiah in this chapter [Isaiah 3] was speaking generally about the the desolation that would come upon Judah and Jerusalem for their sins. But He also speaks of God's promise and assurance to the righteous, that it shall be well with them, notwithstanding the general calamities that was coming upon the people for their sins.
Who is the righteous one today? To be righteous is to be doing that which is right, and being free from wrong, guilt, or sin. On your own, you will fall short of being righteous. The righteous one today is one who has received Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. Christ Jesus is your righteousness, holiness and redemption. God made Him who knew no sin to be sin on your behalf, so that you might become the righteousness of God in Him. He paid the penalty of your sin and provides you with His very own perfections. His record becomes yours. This is why yor Loving Father loves each Christian as much as He loves Jesus Christ. For you who has received the righteousness of Christ by faith, you are counted as the righteous.
Your Loving Father says to you today, "It shall be well with you, and you shall eat the fruit of righteousness". Many negative things may be happening around you but your Loving Father will preserve you. In the day of famine you shall be satisfied. You shall eat the fruit of your works and your righteousness. You will bear good fruit and your works shall be prosperous. Your Loving Father will increase the fruit of your righteousness.
Declaration: Heavenly Father, I thank You for the gift of righteousness which I have received by faith. I thank You for your unfailing love towards me, that You love me as much as You love your precous son Jesus Christ. I declare that I am covered with the robes of righteousness that Jesus gives to me. I declare that I am covered with the precious blood of Jesus and He lives in me. Thank You for when You look at me, You do not see what I used to be but You see perfect Jesus! In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
