Remember Your Rights As A Child Of God

For you are a child of God through faith in Christ Jesus...
(Italized words above is a replacement of 'all children' to make it singular)

You are a child of the Almighty God. As a result of God adopting you, you are just as eternal and secure in your relationship with Him as His Only-begotten Son. You are now an heir to all the joy and blessings of the eternal kingdom, which cannot be shaken.

You have rights as a child of your Loving Father. Many a times, negative situations present themselves to threaten your rights as a child of God. It is as though they say, 'if you are a child of God, how can you go through such a situation?' But you have daily, sufficient security,in the all-powerful God is looking out for you as a Father. You have the assurance that your Loving Father will never leave you nor forsake you.

When you are faced with alternatives, which appear as solutions to any situation you may be going through, remember who you are. Remember your rights as a child of God. Remember the promises your Loving Father has made to you. Remember that God will always provide for a way out for you if you are willing to hold on to Him.

Prayer: My Loving Father, I thank You for the priviledge to be adopted as Your child. I thank You for the rights I have as Your child. I pray, Father, that I continue to walk in the knowledge of who I am in Christ Jesus. May I always remember my rights as your child. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

God Dwells In Your Praise

But You are holy, O You Who dwell in the praises of Israel.

Your Loving Father dwells in the praise of His people. Where there is praise, He is there. He lives in your praise. He deserves your praise for who He is, things He has done and things He is yet to do. But there is more to praise.

Praising God drives away discouragement and despair. It fills your heart with gladness and chases away negative feelings.  Praising God especially when you feel hurt, alone or broken, gives you a positive mood and attitude. Praising God is also a weapon of spiritual warfare against the fiery darts of the enemy.

No matter how you feel, remember to praise God. He lives, abides in and dwells in your praise. If you need to feel His presence, praise Him. You will soon discover that praise is a way out of negative feelings and medicine for your soul. Do you want to try it today?

Prayer: My Loving Father, I start today with praises to you, knowing that You inhabit my praise. I praise You Lord, for who You are and the great and marvellous things You have done. You are the lifter of my head. I declare my thanks to You, I praise You with clapping, singing, music, hymns and dancing. I lift my hands to You Lord. In the stillness of my day, I praise You. Be glorified and exalted, my God and my Father. Amen.

You can listen to this song "Praises To You" to help with your praise today.

The Nature Of Your Loving Father

The Lord is gracious and full of compassion,
Slow to anger and abounding in mercy and loving-kindness.

There is a fountain of goodness in God’s nature. The fullness of His nature, He gives to you. When you think of your Loving Father, remember Him as the One who is gracious towards you. He considers that you are very special to Him, and He is always mindful of you.

When you think of your Loving Father, remember Him as the One who is full of compassion towards you. He knows you need Him. He has demonstrated His love and compassion by sending His Only begotten son into the world to save sinners. When on earth, Jesus Christ showed His compassion by healing people and satisfying those who hungered and thirsted for righterousness. The compassion of your Loving Father towards you is renewed every new day.

When you think of your Loving Father, consider Him as the One who is slow to anger, even when He is offended, and He is full of mercy. He does not treat us as our sin deserves but rather loves with an everlasting love. He is ever ready to give, ready to forgive, and ready to receive you and exceed your expectations. He will never take your love for granted.

Prayer: My Loving Father, Your nature leaves me in awe. All that You are, You give to me. I have tasted Your graciousness, Your compassion, Your mercy and Your love. Thank You for these are new every morning. May I always remember how great You are and give You all the praise that is due Your Holy Name. In Jesus Name, Amen.

My Thoughts Towards You Are Countless

How precious are your thoughts about me, O God.
They cannot be numbered!
I can’t even count them;
they outnumber the grains of sand!

Another translation of these verses compares the number of sand to those in the sea. Have you ever tried to count the grains of sand on the seashore? There are so many in just a scoop of your hand that it becomes incomprehensible to think that we could even begin to count them.

In these scripture verses, the Psalmist tells us that God's thoughts toward us even outnumber the grains of sand on the seashore. Your Loving Father, who created you and who numbered all your days, is thinking about you all the time. He never stops thinking about you. His mind is full of thoughts of you, and they are not thoughts of condemnation and judgement, but thoughts of absolute love and adoration. How precious are His thoughts toward you.

You can be sure that your Loving Father is thinking about you right now, and when He says you should not be anxious about a thing, He means it.

Prayer: My Loving Father, it amazes me that your thoughts toward me outnumber the grains of sand on the sea. Thank You for your thoughts towards me are loving thoughts. I pray that I might be able to receive this truth into my heart, so that I might be able to simply respond with loving thoughts back to You and let go of thoughts that burden my heart. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

His Hands Make Whole

...and His Hands make whole.

Most times when the journey is smooth, a Christian does not doubt the presence and power of God. But in the presence of challenges, doubt creeps in. If it appears too challenging, the Christian begins to consider other options beside God.

But from where can you go from the presence of your Loving Father? There is no god beside Him. He gives life. He binds up. He delivers. He is the One who heals and makes whole.

Do you need physical healing and wholeness? Do you need emotional healing and wholeness? Do you need healing from things that have happened in the past? The Hands of your Loving Father heals and makes whole. Come to His open arms now. Let us pray.

Prayer: My Loving Father, I thank You that I am engraved on the palms of Your Hand. Your hands bring healing and make me whole. I ask for Your touch that brings healing and wholeness in every area of my life. I ask In Jesus Name, Amen.

My Grace Is All You Need

...My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness...

Here, apostle Paul speaks about a situation he was going through that was keeping him from being proud. Although the trouble was not removed, God's grace was sufficient for him to bear it, and God's power worked best in his weakness.

Do you feel weak or incomplete in any area of your life? Are you at a point where you need strength to go on?  Today your Loving Father says, "My grace is all you need. My power works best in your weakness."

His grace signifies two things - (1) His favor, loving-kindness and mercy towards you. This is to strengthen and comfort you, to support your soul and cheer up your spirits, in all situations. (2) His good work in you, which you receive from the fulness that is in Christ. Jesus Christ understands what you are going through, knows your needs, and will provide the best solution specifically for you, and not only strengthen you, but to glorify himself.

You may be weak in an area, but the power of your Loving Father works best in your weakness. His grace, favor, love and mercy is all you need. You can now boast in your weakness because His grace and love is available to you, and He is at work in you.

Prayer: My Loving Father, I thank You for being all that I need at every point in my life. Your grace is sufficient for me. I bring before you this area of weakness (name any area where you need God's strength and power). I declare, Father, that your power is perfected in this weakness. Help me not to do anything that will come in between your work in me. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.
