Come Out From Them And Be Separate

"Therefore come out from them and be separate", says the Lord. "Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you".

In your walk with God, you will need to be separate from people who reject God. It does not mean you will not talk to them nor does it mean you will not show love to them. You only need to separate from their ways, the things they do, that your faith will not be polluted.

Today your Loving Father says, "come out from among those who defile themselves with sin and be separate". You are a chosen people. You are the temple of the Lord. God wants you for Himself. Let go of the world and its ways. Walk as a child of God, for God is your Father.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You that You have received me as Your child. Lord, I pray that by Your Spirit you will reveal to me any attachment to the world and to those that reject God. If there be any, help me to separate myself. May my faith be renewed and my resolve to follow You be firm as I call upon Your name each day. I desire to walk, not in my own finite wisdom, but Your infinite wisdom. I pray that by Your grace, I will walk as Your child. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

Sunrise For You

But for you who fear My name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in His wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture.

These words were spoken in relation to the first and second coming of Jesus Christ. God speaks of this promise to those who serve Him faithfully, to those who fear His name and give Him the glory due to it. This promise comes with mercy and comfort for you who fears the Lord and think on His name.

Jesus Christ, the Sun of righteousness, had come to seek and save those that were lost. When He was on earth, He went about healing all manner of sicknesses and diseases. Because of Jesus, you are righteous. You are justified and sanctified, and so are brought to see light. He has risen with healing under His wings (or in His rays, which are as the wings of the sun).

For you who fears and honours God, you can tap into the promise of healing for your body and your soul, and be in good state of health that you may serve and enjoy both God and yourself. This will give you strength physically, in your heart and in your soul.

Suggestions for Prayer: Thank God for the promise of healing. Thank God that Jesus Christ has risen with healing for you. Declare that this promise of health and healing is for you. Thank God for strength for each day.

Be Strong And Finish The Task

This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Be strong and finish the task! Ever since the laying of the foundation of the Temple of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, you have heard what the prophets have been saying about completing the building.

God had promised that Jerusalem shall be restored, reformed and replenished [Zech. 2: 2-8]. Yet they laboured (built the temple) under difficult conditions. This word of encouragement was God's assurance of the mercy and fulfilment of the promise He had in store for them.

You may have started a journey with God, you may be busy at work for God or you may have started out in accomplishing a vision but met discouragement along the way. Today Your Loving Father says to you, "Be strong and finish the task". Have you forgotten the words He had spoken to you through His word and through His prophets? If you look back, you will see that you have come a long way with Him. Take comfort in the promises of God, and you shall have the benefits of them.

You are among those whose hands must be strengthened and whose hearts must be comforted, with these precious promises of God. This word of encouragement is for you today.

Prayer: Loving Father, You began a good work in me the moment of my conception when You created me in Your own image. Incredibly, You choose to reflect Your divine Being through my thoughts, attitudes, and actions though I am numbered among the “frail children of dust.” I place my trust in You and have found that You never fail. You never give up or abandon the work You started in my life but Your tender mercies and divine plan continue to break me, mould me, and shape me into Your image. Thank You, Father, for being my “Maker, Defender, Redeemer and my Friend”. I pray that by Your grace, I will be able to complete the work which You have called me to do. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Not By Might, Nor By Power, But By My Spirit

"You can't force these things. They only come about through my Spirit," says God-of-the-Angel-Armies. "So, big mountain, who do you think you are? Next to Zerubbabel you're nothing but a molehill..."

These words of encouragement were spoken by God through the prophet Zechariah to the people of Jerusalem. They thought their situation was helpless and their temple could never be rebuilt nor their city replenished. The assistance they received from friends was not sufficient, and the opposition they faced from enemies seemed to overwhelm them. But God assured them that He would, by His own power, perfect the work which He had started with them.

You may be facing mountains that hinder your relationship with your loving Father. You might be facing obstacles that test your faith and walk with God. You might be facing a situation that has lingered for quite some time and seems immovable. You might have done everything within your power to overcome. Today your loving Father says to you, "Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit".  Your Loving Father declares that He will complete what He has promised, not by your might or power, but by His own Spirit. He knows how best to accomplish what He has promised.

Nothing can stand in the way of God when He is at work. Every mountain and hill shall be brought low in the name and presence of Jesus Christ, your Zerubbabel. Your faith will remove mountains and make them plains. Nothing is too difficult for your Loving Father.

Prayer: Thank You, Loving Father for Your Spirit who is at work in me and for me. Father, I have done all I can in this area (mention any area that is a burden to you). But Father, I know You alone know how best to make it work for me. Today I begin to build faith that moves mountains in any area I have struggles. I pray that by Your Spirit, I will remain committed to this. I pray, Heavenly Father, that even as I wait, that You will fill my heart with anticipation and expectancy. May Your grace help me to rise above the struggles of this world that I may see Your blessings each day. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

I Will Be A Wall Of Fire Around You

'And I Myself will be a wall of fire around you,' declares the LORD, 'and I will be the glory within you.'
(Italized words are originally pronouns for "Jerusalem")

This promise of protection was made at a time when Jerusalem had no walls about it. It was exposed. When it had walls, the enemies not only broke through them, but broke them down. It appeared to be worse for them with no walls. But God had plans for the expansion and prosperity of the land. He chose to be to Jerusalem a wall of fire.

Today Your Loving Father says to you, "I Myself will be a wall of fire around you." This can be likened to when shepherds made fires about their flocks. It was to prevent the devourer from coming close. God will not only make a hedge about you as He did about Job, not only make brickwalls around you because they can be broken down, not only be as the mountains round about you because mountains may be climbed over, but He will be a wall of fire round you. This cannot be broken through, nor scaled, nor undermined, nor the foundations of it shaken, nor can it be attempted, or approached, without danger to the assailants. He is a wall of fire, not on one side only, but round about on every side. If you feel unprotected, exposed, attacked or helpless, allow God to be a wall of fire around you.

Your Loving Father declares that He will be the glory in you. When you receive Christ and His Holy Spirit dwells in you, you become the temple of the Lord. As you continue to spend time with Him and be transformed, you will radiate His glory and His presence within you. Because of you, people will give glory to God.

Prayer: Loving Father, I thank You that You have chosen to be a wall of fire around me. My assurance and hope is in Your protection day and night. You made the mountains and the hills, the valleys and the streams. You do not leave us to fend for ourselves, but Your help is constant and ever-sufficient for all our needs. My help comes from You, Heavenly Father, who watches over me both now and forevermore. By Your Sprit, may I continue to radiate your glory and presence. In Jesus Name, Amen.

The Glory Of This Latter House Shall Be Greater Than Of The Former

'The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,' says the LORD Almighty. 'And in this place I will grant peace,' declares the LORD Almighty."

The house in today's word refers to the temple of the Lord. In outward glory, no temple built was comparable to the glory of Solomon's temple (the former house). But the Lord Almighty was speaking about the temple He will reside in with the coming of Jesus Christ.

Your body is the temple of the Lord. Today, your Loving Father says of your body "The glory of this latter house shall be greater than that of the former". Because of Jesus Christ, you have become righteous. Being righteous, your body is free from sin, and idolatries, and its glory excels all the glory of Solomon's temple. Having a heart in which God dwells, and makes a living temple, which is more glorious than Solomon’s temple.

And this new house, your body - the temple of God, will experience peace and enjoy the pleasure of a happy settlement. Your Loving Father's presence gives peace that passes all understanding. Enjoy the peace and glory of your body- the temple of the Lord.

Prayer: Loving Father, I thank You for the powerful God that You are. Thank You for choosing to dwell in my body, that I am assured of Your presence with me always. Because of Jesus, I am righteous. I declare that my body is free of sin. You are my peace, oh Lord. May my body always be a house that worships You. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

You Are The Apple Of My Eye

"Anyone who harms you harms My most precious possession"

Other translations of this verse of scripture reads something like "Anyone who touches you touches the apple of my eye". This is a high expression of God’s love to you. To be the apple of God's eye means you are precious to Him and cherished above all others. This word is a clear statement of what you mean to God.

Everything that is of interest to you is of interest to God, and anything done against you, God takes it as being done against Himself.

Today your Loving Father reminds you that you are very precious to Him. Are you searching for true love? Do you desire to to be loved and treated as very special? Do you need reassurance of God's love? Today, rest in the knowledge that your Loving Father loves you, has your best interest in His heart, and He sees you as very precious to Him.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for your unconditional love for me. I am blessed to be precious and loved by an awesome Father. Today I choose to forgive people who I expect love from yet have not been able to meet my love needs. I am thankful that You love me perfectly and desire to meet all my love needs. Please keep me as the apple of Your eyes. Please come and be to me, the Father that I have always needed. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.
