Whatever You Decree Shall Be Established

You shall also decide and decree a thing, and it shall be established for you; and the light (of God's favor) shall shine upon your ways.

Today your Loving Father says to you, "You shall also decide and decree a thing, and it shall be established for you." To decree means to decide (reach, make, or come to a conclusion about something) with authority. There are certain situations that are not welcome in your life but seem like they plan to stay. It is time to reach a conclusion about such situations. It is time to decide in agreement with the word of God, and decree. You have the authority. This authority is your authority in Jesus Christ. God, your Loving Father is ready to back you.

It is also time to decree a thing concerning your future. Whatever you decree, in line with the will and word of God, it shall be established for you. God will guide and direct you, and then it will follow that He will prosper and make you succeed in all you do. God’s wisdom shall be your guide, His favour your comfort, and your ways shall be so under the light of God's wisdom and favour that you will enjoy what is present and a comfortable prospect of what is to come. Decree today with words, in faith and by prayer.

Suggestions for Prayer: Take out time to make decrees and declarations concerning any matter that can come to your remembrance. Pray that God will reveal to you areas where you need to make decrees, both for yourself and others.

One-Year Daily Bible Reading Plan - Mar. 14 2010 - Joshua 9-10 (OT), Luke 20 (NT).

Suggested Prayer Point for yourself - Pray for confidence in the word of God. Pray that no matter the attempts by man to bring into question the authority of God's immortal Word, that you will trust and remain confident in the word of God. Supporting Scriptures - 2 Timothy 3:16, Matthew 7:13-14.

Suggested General Prayer Point - Pray for those who are lonely. Thank God for the many Scriptures that give assurance that we are not alone, whether it’s during mountain top experiences or in the valleys below. God has promised that His Spirit will never leave us nor forsake us. Pray that those who are lonely will know of this promises and be encouraged and strengthened by God's promises and His presence.
