Signs Need Not Precede Your Miracle

This is what the LORD says: Make this valley full of ditches... You will see neither wind nor rain, yet this valley will be filled with water, and you will drink... This is an easy thing in the eyes of the LORD...[2 Kings 3:16-18, NIV]

Many a times, when you are expecting from God, you hope to see signs or something tangible to assure you that it will come to pass. But without faith, it is impossible to please God.

Today your Loving Father says to you, "Make the valley full of ditches". That is to say, "Step out in faith and obedience". If you are expecting God's blessings, you must prepare room for them. Your Loving Father is full of power. When He performs a miracle, He does it better than you could have imagined. Do no wait for signs. Believe that your miracle is on the way, and prepare for it.

To bring water without wind or rain is but a light thing in the sight of the Lord. When God does it for you, you shall return in triumph. As God gives freely to the unworthy, so He gives richly, like Himself, more than you are able to ask or think. His grants outdoes your requests and expectations. As you sincerely seek for the dew of God’s grace, you shall have it, and by it be made more than conquerors.

Prayer: Almighty Loving Father, I thank You for Your Word. Father, when I am expecting from You, some times it is hard to believe except I see tangible signs. Lord, today I realize that you do not need signs to precede Your miracles. Today, I step out in faith and obedience. I pray for courage, strength and the ability to hear Your voice clearly. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

One-Year Daily Bible Reading Plan - Feb. 27 2010 - Deuteronomy 1-2 (OT), Luke 8: 26-53 (NT).

Suggested Prayer Point for yourself - Pray for your steadfastness in your walk with God. Though there may be obstacles that could lead you astray as you contend for the faith, pray that you will have you eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of your faith, who set His eyes on the throne of God, enabling Him to endure the cross, its shame and agony. Pray that you will be sustained through God's mercy. Supporting Scriptures - Hebrews 12:2-3, Jude 3.

Suggested General Prayer Point - Thank God for the ministers, teachers and workers in the body of Christ that have influenced you positively. Thank God for their loving devotion and faithful service. Pray that their sense of duty will be a direct result of their devotion to God's great cause; the salvation of souls, love toward the body of Christ, and discipleship through instruction of God's Holy Word.

God's Love and Mine...
